President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev arrived in Baku at the invitation of President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.
At Heydar Aliyev International Airport, the President of Uzbekistan was welcomed by Azerbaijan’s Minister of Culture Adil Karimli and other officials.
The main events of the visit are scheduled for May 18. In accordance with the program of the visit, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev will take part in the events of the thirteenth session of the World Urban Forum, including the Leaders’ Summit.
