Activities of the Institute

ISIRS is tasked with following functions:

holds international conferences, thematic roundtable discussions and academic and practical seminars in main research areas;

carries out joint research on security issues in Central Asia, on the prospects for the development of multifaceted regional and international cooperation of the Republic of Uzbekistan;

participates in the development of draft laws, development programs and conceptual documents in the field of domestic and foreign policy of the Republic of Uzbekistan;

interacts with public authorities, research and analytical institutions, higher educational institutions of the Republic of Uzbekistan;

maintains cooperation with the diplomatic corps and representative offices of international organizations accredited in Tashkent, as well as foreign analytical and research centers.

Participation in the formation and implementation of state policy in the field of business development, protection of the rights and legitimate interests of business entities;

monitoring compliance with the rights and legitimate interests of business entities by government bodies, including law enforcement and regulatory authorities;

provision of legal support to business entities when their activities are inspected;

examination of the practical realization of the norms and requirements of the legislation on guarantees of freedom of entrepreneurial activity;

assessment of the effectiveness of impact by normative acts on the implementation of entrepreneurial activity;

Training, retraining and advanced training of management personnel in the field of public, economic and social management, using higher professional education programs that meet the requirements for

professional training of management staff to work in modern socio-economic conditions;

formation of solid knowledge in the field of public, economic and social management, psychology, information and communication technologies and e-government systems, legal framework and modern methods of management, initiative and leadership, as well as systemic analysis and strategic policy planning, building skills of decision-making in nonconventional circumstances;

regular study and analysis of current and future needs of public authorities, public and economic administration bodies and nongovernmental nonprofit organizations in management staff, as well as the formation of an annual target portfolio of orders for training in specialities offered by the Academy;

Organization of direct communication with the population, provision for a qualitatively new and effective system of dealing with appeals of individuals and corporate bodies (hereinafter, appeals) aimed at the complete protection of the rights and freedoms and legitimate interests of individuals and legal entities;

Chief Medical Directorate under the Administration of President of the Republic of Uzbekistan is an independent structural subdivision of the Administration of the President, designed to provide highly qualified diagnostic, treatment and prophylactic, pediatric,

sanatorium-resort assistance, medical examinations, organization of medical and pharmaceutical care, as well as sanitary and epidemiological wellbeing of the assigned staff.

The Chief Directorate incorporates medical, sanitary and epidemiological, pharmacy, sanatorium and resort organizations and other auxiliary institutions (department for the provision of specialized transport, department for the development of material and technical base, JSC “Uzbekiston”) under the Administration of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The key tasks of the Chief Directorate are:

organization and provision of guaranteed and high-quality medical and sanatorium-and-spa services for the assigned personnel, including of local executive authorities;

conduct of organizational and methodological work as well as coordination and control of the activities of subordinate organizations of the Chief Medical Directorate;
