President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a meeting with the heads of leading Chinese companies China State Construction, China General Nuclear Power, CAMCE, Goldwind and ZTO Express.

The Head of our state mentioned with satisfaction the traditionally high interest of the Chinese business to Uzbekistan. Only last year the volume of investments from this country reached $10 billion.

In a conversation with the chairman of the board of directors of China State Construction Zheng Xuexuan the results of cooperation in the sphere of modernizing road infrastructure were highly praised. Prospective plans for creating cultural objects in Tashkent were discussed.

An agreement was reached to launch a project on creating an industrial zone in Tashkent region, as well as participation of the company on road construction projects.

The focus of attention of the talks with the chairman of China General Nuclear Power corporation Yang Changli was strengthening of partnership in mining sector. Interest was expressed in accelerating geological exploration works and developing new mines. Company’s plans on constructing a hybrid solar power plans and implementing customs’ cargo scanning technologies were supported.

A summary of joint work on the construction of the Olympic city in the capital was held with the chairman of CAMCE Corporation Wang Bo. The intensive development of the "Yangi Avlod" industrial technopark in Tashkent, managed by the company, was noted.

Particular attention was paid to expanding the portfolio of joint initiatives, particularly accelerating projects in the field of electric power and infrastructure development in New Tashkent.

An exchange of views took place with the Chairman of Goldwind Wu Gang regarding the company's participation in the development of green energy. Together with the company the production of components for wind power plants has already been established in Uzbekistan. 

An agreement was reached on further localization of wind turbine production and intensification of ongoing projects.

The head of ZTO Express Hu Xiangliang, informed the Head of our state about plans to launch an online platform to facilitate customs clearance of goods and create smart logistics warehouses in Uzbekistan.
