On November 2-3, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will pay a working visit to Kazakhstan at the invitation of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to participate in the forthcoming meeting of the Council of Heads of States of the Organization of Turkic States.
The agenda of the summit includes issues related to the further development of multilateral cooperation within the Organization, primarily in the trade, economic, investment, transport, communication, ecological, cultural, humanitarian and other spheres.
The heads of the delegations will also exchange views on current issues in international politics and regional cooperation.
Several agreements are expected to be signed by the end of the event.
It should be noted that the Republic of Uzbekistan is currently chairing the Organization of Turkic States this year. Over 100 important meetings have been held to deepen multifaceted cooperation.
The members of the organization are the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic and the Republic of Turkiye, and the observers are Hungary and Turkmenistan.
