On March 10, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev got acquainted with the presentation of a number of construction projects.
The scale of creative work has been expanding as our country develops and according to the time demands. In particular, a number of socio-economic facilities have been erected in Tashkent city. Uzbek President, paying a particular attention to this issue, has set a task to preserve an architectural look of the capital and to ensure the future construction beyond the boundaries of the city.
Accordingly, the project of the New Tashkent City is being elaborated. During the presentation, the information on this project has been briefed to the President.
In accordance with the project, it is envisaged to build up an area of 6 thousand hectares during the first stage. The prospective construction areas, schemes of main roads connecting the capital with the new city have been developed.
The project is supposed to be a new administrative and economic center. It will be located on the east of the capital, in the Yukorichirchik and Urtachirchik Districts, and there will be 800 thousand inhabitants.
It will accommodate ministries and departments, higher educational institutions, medical organizations, a theater, a library, hotels, residential areas, and parks. The territory of green zones is planned to occupy 363 hectares.
As it is well-known, the reconstruction of the new Imam Bukhari Complex in the Samarkand Region is continuing. Currently, the construction of buildings has been completed, and finishing works are underway. The complex will be adorned with national ornaments, elements of painting and calligraphy. The walls will be painted with texts of Quran and Hadith.
It is planned to create the Imam Bukhari Museum in the complex at the initiative of the President. During the presentation, the project of this museum has been presented.
The museum will combine modern design and rich cultural values of our people. The exposition will be divided into 8 pavilions, devoted to such topics as life history of Prophet Muhammad and prophecy, the origin and development of hadith science, life and scientific activity of Imam Bukhari, virtues of Imam Bukhari, children's section, "Al-Jame as-Sahih" as the second source in Islam, the significance of Imam Bukhari's heritage today, religious and enlightenment reforms and attention to the heritage of Imam Bukhari in New Uzbekistan.
The President has emphasized that every item and visual information in the museum should serve the enlightenment of visitors.
Along with the improvement of business climate in our country, foreign trade relations are expanding. Correspondingly, it is necessary to develop the customs infrastructure.
In particular, the customs post "Gishtkuprik" on the border of Uzbekistan with Kazakhstan, through which passes daily a lot of people and cargo, needs to be modernized.
A modern complex with a new terminal, access roads, parking lots, a canteen, a medical station, as well as commercial and consumer service facilities will be built for the customs post.
The President has instructed to create all of the amenities for drivers and passengers in the complex, to digitalize the processes of customs control and сheck-points.
During the presentation, the information on new projects of our country's embassies in the United Arab Emirates and in the Republic of Azerbaijan was also provided.
