President Shavkat Mirziyoyev got acquainted with the activities of the Vocational Training Center opened in Ferghana.
Organized in cooperation with the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), the complex trains specialists in such popular fields as electronics, information technologies, automobile manufacturing, sewing, hairdressing and cosmetology.
All modern equipment was brought to the Center from South Korea. The training is also conducted according to Korean programs and manuals. Five South Korean trainers work at the Center. There are currently 240 students at the Center.
The President was familiarized with the training process and spoke to the young men and women.
- It is never too late to learn, to learn new things. The fact that you came here and are learning a profession indicates that you care about your future. It may be a little challenging. However, if you think about yourself, about the future of your children, be diligent. The difficulties will pass and you will gain invaluable knowledge, – said the President.
The President also spoke with the Korean mentors and expressed his gratitude.
Previously similar Centers opened in Tashkent, Samarkand and Shakhrisabz. The new center in Ferghana will train aspiring students from all regions of the valley. A dormitory has been built here for those who come from afar.
