President Shavkat Mirziyoyev got acquainted with the activities of the new plastic door and frame manufacturing factory in the city of Nukus.

The project was realized at the makhalla (the local residential community area) of Jana Bazaar on the territory of four hectares of land. The construction works were carried out for $2 million. A modern equipment and engineering communications were installed. The enterprise is able to produce 270,000 square meters of doors and frames per year. 230 people, mostly the young people, work here.

The President became acquainted with the technological process and inspected the production.

The khokimiyat (mayor’s office) of the city of Tashkent is assigned to the city of Nukus. The city development drivers are the food industry and the building materials industry, tourism. With this in mind, a program for the integrated socio-economic development of Nukus in 2022 was developed. It provides for the implementation of 10 projects totaling 1,361 billion Uzbek soums. As a result, 3,000 jobs will be created.

The President has also visited the site of a new housing complex in the territory of Jeke Terek makhalla. There has planned to build five 16-storey apartments. The first one in line is under construction.

In this complex the new construction types shall be applied. The outer walls will be made of three layers, which will ensure the optimal temperature in the houses in both – the winter and the summer. The apartments will be with ready-made repairs and modern equipment.
