Today on April 5, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received the delegation of the Russian Federation headed by Minister of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov, who is in Tashkent to participate in the International Industrial Exhibition «Innoprom».

It should be noted that the «Innoprom» is the largest exhibition organized by the Government of the Russian Federation aimed at the joint promotion of advanced technologies and modern developments in various sectors of the economy. The event is held for the first time in our country.

The topical issues of further expanding the full-scale practical cooperation, strengthening the strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and Russia were discussed during the conversation.

Denis Manturov informed the President about the results of joint work on the implementation of large cooperation projects with the participation of high-profile industrial companies, banking and financial institutions of the two countries.

At the meeting, a special attention was paid to the growth of multifaceted interactions at the level of businesses and the regions, expanding cooperation and implementation of new projects in different sectors of the economy.

It was pointed out that the successful holding of the «Innoprom» exhibition in our capital should facilitate the achievement of these tasks.
