Today, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev will take part in the Youth Forum of Uzbekistan.
The initiative to hold a major youth festival, the first such in the country’s history, was put forward by the head of state on November 20 this year.
The forum, whose events commenced December 18 in the capital, eventually grew into a nationwide occasion to cover cities and regions of our nation. The rich agenda allowed young men and women to communicate directly with ministers, hokims, meet with other government officials, and take part in discussions with experts and opinion leaders.
Today’s event will come to be a logical conclusion of Uzbekistan Youth Forum.
The President is expected to deliver a speech and talk with young people. The festival is estimated to be attended by over 3.3 thousand youths in the central venue, and another 26 thousand in studios across the country.
