On November 3, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held bilateral meetings with the Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Sapar Isakov, the Prime Minister of Armenia Karen Karapetyan and the First Deputy Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Yagub Eyyubov, who took part in the regular meeting of the Council of Heads of Governments of the CIS in the city of Tashkent.
During the conversation with the Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Sapar Isakov, the dynamic development of multifaceted relations between Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan was noted with deep satisfaction.
Mutual visits at the highest level that were held in the past months and their fruitful results brought bilateral relations to the level of strategic partnership.
Issues of ensuring implementation of the adopted decisions and reached agreements, prospects of further increasing the volume of trade, expanding cooperation in industry and agriculture were discussed.
The need to actively use the existing potential and broad opportunities for interaction was emphasized at the meeting with the Prime Minister of Armenia Karen Karapetyan.
The Head of our state paid special attention to issues of expanding the mutually beneficial practical cooperation, primarily in the trade and economic sphere. The importance of organizing an effective activity of the joint Intergovernmental Commission was noted.
During the meeting with the First Deputy Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Yagub Eyyubov, issues of developing mutually beneficial partnership between Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan in the sphere of trade, energy, transport and transit, other priority areas were discussed.
The importance of careful preparation of the economic agenda of the upcoming bilateral meetings at the highest level was emphasized.
In turn, the heads of governments of Kyrgyzstan, Armenia and Azerbaijan expressed gratitude to the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev for the warm welcome and conveyed greetings and best wishes of the heads of their states.
The readiness for active cooperation in order to expand and deepen bilateral relations, to fill practical cooperation between our countries with a new concrete content was noted.
