In accordance with the Decree and Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated June 29, young people who have made significant contributions to the development of New Uzbekistan through their knowledge, talent, initiative, and dedication were awarded the "Kelajak Bunyodkori" Medal and the "Mard O'g'lon" State Prize.
On June 30, Youth Day, the award ceremony took place at the Tashkent Olympic Village.
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev emphasized that every young person in Uzbekistan possesses immense potential, talent, and ability.
"You are the worthy heirs of our great ancestors who, through their outstanding discoveries, made a tremendous contribution to world civilization and became the luminaries of the First and Second Renaissances. Undoubtedly, being their heirs is not only a matter of immense pride but also a profound responsibility!
Just as our ancestors accomplished great deeds for the progress of humanity, you must become the force that will lay the foundation for a new era of revival in New Uzbekistan — the Third Renaissance!" said the Head of State.
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev then presented the state awards to the recipients.
"On behalf of all our people, I once again congratulate today's recipients of the state awards. May this high honor inspire you to achieve new heights! May your ranks continue to grow!" the President of Uzbekistan said.
The young men and women who received the state awards expressed their gratitude for the opportunities created by the state and emphasized their continued readiness to make a worthy contribution to the prosperity of their Motherland through their knowledge, hard work, and initiative.
