Almalyk is one of the largest industrially developed cities of our country. Development of new deposits, the growth of the population requires further socio-economic development of the city. According to the master plan for its development until 2035, the administrative territory of Almalyk will be expanded from 2600 hectares to 3,5 thousand hectares. The industrial zone will be located outside the center of the city. Development of modern infrastructure, construction of comfortable housing is envisaged.

Ten seven-story houses, housing in which will be provided on the basis of a preferential mortgage loan are being built in Ibn Sino street. Construction of the first two such houses, each for 42 apartments is being completed.

According to the project, a hypermarket, preschool educational institution, a park of culture and recreation will be built here.

The President of our country, considering the population’s needs for housing, suggested to build nine-storey houses. New houses will become a worthy gift for the people of Almalyk for the 27th anniversary of the independence of our Motherland, said President Shavkat Mirziyoyev. Construction of houses will expand from year to year. In the future, a modern microdistrict with all amenities and infrastructure will be erected here, people will be satisfied with the work we do.

The current appearance, the level of service in the dehkan market “Oydin” and the clothing market of Almalyk do not meet the requirements of today. Therefore, a project on the capital reconstruction of these markets, construction of additional buildings and retail outlets has been developed. This project provides for streamlining of stationary retail outlets in dehkan market, construction of a modern parking lot, pavilions for 450 places for a clothing market.

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev asked about conditions that will be created in these markets for sellers and buyers, gave appropriate recommendations on qualitative construction of structures in a short time with the use of modern building materials, creating additional amenities. 

Reconstruction of Almalyk city children’s hospital will expand opportunities of protecting children’s health. The building of this institution will have a multidisciplinary central polyclinic, departments of emergency medical care, infectious diseases, blood transfusion and other units. It is planned to organize new family polyclinics in buildings that have been freed up as a result of centralization. The hospital building is planned to be put into operation before the end of this year. The head of our state gave instructions to officials on providing the hospital with modern medical equipment, allocating necessary funds for this.

The President of our country was told about the project on a new type of building construction for the city department of civil registration records. In this building, which will be erected in the territory of makhalla named after Babur, a civil registration records department, a notarial office and a “One window” center will be located. This type of building of civil registration records was designed for the first time, location of various bodies of justice in one place will ensure provision of qualitative legal services to the population. 

A person has to apply to various departments on various issues throughout his life, said Shavkat Mirziyoyev. Serving newlyweds, citizens and entrepreneurs in one place on legal issues creates an opportunity for improving the quality of service delivery in accordance with modern requirements. According to the new project, bodies rendering such services will be housed in the same building. Recommendations are being developed on holding wedding ceremonies along with marriage registration. If we implement this, order and discipline will be ensured, and our weddings will be held culturally, with taste and without excess. This requires further improvement of this project, which must necessarily take into account the natural and climatic conditions, the uniqueness of each region.
