Upon the arrival of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev on a state visit at the invitation of President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, a meeting between the two heads of state took place at Tashkent-Humo International Airport.
The leaders exchanged views on further deepening Uzbek-Kazakh strategic partnership and alliance relations.
In accordance with the program of the visit, tomorrow, on November 15, high-level talks and the second meeting of the Supreme Intergovernmental Council will take place.
Within the framework of the summit, the launch of major joint cooperation projects is expected, as well as the signing of a substantial package of bilateral documents.
