Having the modern technologies you possess all necessary opportunities for exporting fresh and dried fruits to the world market. For instance, Japan has a high interest to the products of Uzbekistan. It’s important to ensure quality care for orchards and delivery of fruit in the proper form. If we develop such enterprises, only this area can bring revenues in several billions of dollars, - mentioned the President.
Here export-oriented agriculture products of Tashkent region were presented. Last year the export volume of fruits and vegetables from the region reached $130 million. However taking into account the nature conditions and the region’s potential this indicator isn’t enough.
In order to stimulate export activity seven types of financial support and three tax benefits are envisioned for the enterprises. There are 175 enterprises on processing of fruit and vegetables in Tashkent region, and the level of processing is steadily increasing each year. Next year it’s expected to significantly increase the export indicators.
