President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received the Minister of commerce, industry, and investment promotion of the Sultanate of Oman Qais bin Mohammed Al Yousef, who arrived in our country to participate in the Tashkent International Investment Forum.
At the beginning of the meeting, the distinguished guest conveyed to the Head of our state sincere greetings of Sultan of Oman Haitham bin Tariq Al Said.
Issues of the expansion of practical cooperation, primarily in trade, economic and investment spheres were reviewed.
The active contacts at various levels were noted with satisfaction. Within the framework of the forum, a regular session of the Intergovernmental Commission and meetings of business circles will be held.
The importance of promoting joint projects in the fields of energy, geology, food, textile and chemical industries, transport and logistics, tourism, financial sector, was emphasized, including through the active support of the Uzbek-Oman investment company.
