As part of the Tashkent Investment Forum program, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers – Head of the Presidential Administration of the Kyrgyz Republic, Adylbek Kasymaliev.
At the beginning of the meeting, Adylbek Kasymaliev conveyed the sincere greetings and best wishes of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov, to the Head of our state.
Issues of further deepening Uzbek-Kyrgyz relations of friendship and comprehensive strategic partnership, increasing trade volumes, expanding industrial cooperation, as well as enhancing interregional contacts and cultural-humanitarian exchanges.
Special attention was paid to accelerating major regional projects in the fields of energy and transport infrastructure, including the construction of the Kambarata HPP-1 and the China – Kyrgyzstan – Uzbekistan railway.
The importance of the effective organization of this year’s upcoming meeting of the Intergovernmental commission and the Council of the regional leaders was also emphasized.
