On the sidelines of the annual meeting of the Board of Governors of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received the founder and CEO of the Lasselsberger Group, Josef Lasselsberger.
The Lasselsberger Group, established in 1957, is a leading European manufacturer of building materials, ceramics and mineral products with an annual turnover of $20 billion.
During the meeting, issues of practical implementation of high-tech projects in the building materials industry were discussed.
Currently, projects are being implemented for the production of dry mixes and microcalcite in Samarkand region, and marble processing in Kashkadarya region.
An agreement was reached to accelerate new projects for the production of high-purity aluminum and meta-kaolin, porcelain stoneware, paints and varnishes, and fiber cement.
