On September 5, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received the delegation of the People’s Republic of China headed by Chen Min’er, a member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, Secretary of Tianjin Municipal Committee.

At the beginning of the meeting, Chen Min’er conveyed to the Head of our State the sincere greetings and best wishes of the President of the People’s Republic of China, Xi Jinping.

The issues of further deepening Uzbek-Chinese multidimensional cooperation and practical interaction in line with agreements at the highest level, especially within the framework of an active interregional dialogue, were considered.

The highest level of friendship and all-weather strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and China achieved in recent years was noted with great satisfaction.

Special attention was paid to the promotion of cooperation projects with leading companies in Tianjin city in the fields of trade, industry, green energy, construction and modernization of infrastructure, agriculture, textile, pharmaceutical and other industries.

The importance of expanding innovative, educational and cultural exchange programs was stressed.

An agreement was reached on the adoption of a road map for mutually beneficial cooperation between the regions of Uzbekistan and the city of Tianjin.
