On July 24, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a telephone conversation with the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.

The President of Kazakhstan warmly congratulated the Head of our state on his birthday and underlined the personal contribution of the Leader of Uzbekistan to the achievement of the current high-level relations of strategic partnership and alliance between the two brotherly countries.

High dynamics of cooperation in all areas of interaction was noted. The parties stressed the importance of forming a rich economic agenda for the upcoming summit meetings.

Preparations for the next Consultative Meeting of Heads of State of the region and the “Central Asia + Japan” summit, scheduled to be held in Astana in August this year, were also considered.
