President Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited Dilbog makhalla in Yashnabad district of the capital and got acquainted with the living conditions of the population.
The makhalla is home to more than 5,2 thousand people. The territory adjacent to 26 apartment buildings, schools and kindergartens, trade points has been improved.
In our country, each makhalla develops based on its specialization. Residents of Dilbog are mainly engaged in business and crafts, and are permanently employed in 15 retail and service outlets, one manufacturing facility and educational institutions.
In the past year, credits were allocated for 13 projects to attract people to entrepreneurship. Almost 300 people were employed. A monocenter has been set up to train young people in professions.
The Head of State examined the creative and improvement works in the makhalla.
The Tashkent Football Academy of the Uzbekistan Football Association is located in the same makhalla. The modern complex has indoor and outdoor sports grounds, classes for theoretical training, dormitory, canteen and library. Currently, 154 juniors from 12 to 18 years old are trained here. Foreign specialists are involved in the training. Stadiums are equipped with lighting and video recording systems.
The President talked to the students of the Academy and those responsible for sports.
- Thanks to our football solutions and attention to talented children, Uzbek football is beginning to reach the world level. The number of our legionnaires in European teams is growing. Our young athletes got a ticket to the Olympics. For this to continue, it is necessary to develop football in makhallas. It is necessary to build additional stadiums and maintain the mass sport, - said Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
The renovation of the Water Sports Palace in this makhalla was also examined. An instruction was given on the sustainable use of the facility on the basis of public-private partnership.
