On February 21, at the invitation of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will pay a working visit to Kazan to participate in the opening ceremony of the “Games of the Future”.

The program of the visit includes a bilateral meeting between the two Presidents. During the meeting, the Presidents will discuss the issues of implementation of the agreements reached at the highest level after the official visit to Russia on October 5-7, 2023, as well as the further deepening of the comprehensive strategic partnership.

It should be noted that the “Games of the Future”, which will be held for the first time in the Russian Federation from February 21 to March 3, are competitions combining classical sports, scientific developments and digital technologies.

The large-scale sporting events will be attended by 227 teams from 107 countries, including athletes from Uzbekistan.
