The President visited the house of Salokhiddin Usmonov, who lives in Yangi hayot makhalla in Khonobod.

The head of the family has raised two children with his wife Ziyoda-opa. The house is well maintained. It has a modern look, with solar panels installed on the roof. There is also a separate energy-saving heating system.

In recent years, tourism has been developing in Khonobod. The infrastructure is developing and tourists are coming. Taking advantage of this, the guest rooms in the house are being organized.

S. Usmonov is an agricultural specialist. They are also engaged in mushroom cultivation.

The President praised the entrepreneurial spirit of the owners and stressed the importance of applying their experience in other places.

“Each makhalla has its own capabilities, traditions, and people’s aspirations. If the makhalla association and representatives of the economic complex identify and support them, it is possible to engage the population and to create a source of income. Therefore, we are paying attention to the development of regions on makhallas, bringing down all responsible leaders”, - the President said.
