On November 29, the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev had a telephone conversation with the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin.
The Leaders discussed current issues on the bilateral agenda, including the implementation of the agreements reached during the high-level visit to the Russian Federation on October 5-7 this year.
The two Presidents noted with satisfaction the gradual strengthening of Uzbek-Russian relations at the level of strategic partnership and alliance, as well as the expansion of multifaceted cooperation.
The dynamics of mutual trade turnover is increasing, cooperation projects in various spheres of the economy are being implemented, interregional productive contacts are improving. Recently, a joint agro-logistic complex was launched in the Jizzakh region.
The Leaders of Uzbekistan and Russia also welcomed active cultural and humanitarian exchanges and ongoing programs in the field of healthcare.
