The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has completed his working visit to the city of Astana to attend the summit of the Organization of Turkic States.

At the regular meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Organization, the Uzbek Leader noted the main results of our country's chairmanship in the Organization, expressed his vision of priorities for further development of the structure and strengthening of cooperation among Turkic states, made a number of important proposals and initiatives.

As part of the summit programme, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev was solemnly awarded the "Supreme Order of the Turkic World" for his outstanding contribution to strengthening the unity of the Turkic family, active promotion of the interests and views of Turkic countries in the international arena.

After completing the programme of his stay, the head of state left for Tashkent. The President of Uzbekistan was accompanied to the airport by the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Alikhan Smailov.
