The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev met with Emmanuel Besnier, Chairman of Lactalis, as part of the ongoing Uzbek-French Business Forum in Samarkand.

Lactalis is the world's largest producer of milk and cheese products. It has 270 factories in 52 countries.

During the meeting, the Head of State welcomed the company's plans to produce dairy products in Namangan.
