On October 1-2, at the invitation of the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will pay a state visit to Qatar.
The program of the visit envisages bilateral talks at the top-level, as well as participation in the opening ceremony of the international exhibition «Expo Doha – 2023» - «Green Desert, Better Environment».
During the upcoming talks, the Leaders will discuss the current state and prospects of development of Uzbek-Qatar cooperation, exchange views on topical international and regional issues.
Following the state visit, a package of documents aimed at further strengthening bilateral relations in various fields is expected to be signed.
