The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev met with the President of the Turkish Republic Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Budapest.
The issues of further enhancing the Uzbek-Turkish relations of comprehensive strategic partnership and expanding multifaceted cooperation were discussed.

There has been a significant increase in the indicators of mutual trade turnover. The Preferential Trade Agreement entered into force on July 1 of this year. The number of joint ventures has exceeded 2.5 thousand.
The Uzbek and Turkish Leaders welcomed the plans of leading companies of the two countries to implement investment projects in priority sectors of the economy.
The sides reviewed the schedule of bilateral and multilateral events, including preparations in the next meeting of the joint Strategic Cooperation Council, the upcoming summits of the Organization of Turkic States, and the Economic Cooperation Organization this year.
