The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev was officially welcomed at the Jumhuri Palace of the Saadabad Complex in Tehran during his official visit to the Islamic Republic of Iran.

The Head of our state was met by the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Ebrahim Raisi.

A guard of honour lined up in the square in front of the palace in honour of the high-ranking guest. The national flags of Uzbekistan and Iran were raised.

A military orchestra played the national anthems of both countries.

The Presidents walked around the guard of honour and greeted members of the official delegations.

After the joint photo session, the leaders began their meeting in a narrow format.
