The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev participated in the inauguration ceremony of the President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, re-elected to the post by the results of elections held on May 28 this year.
The event was attended by the heads of state and government, speakers of parliament, high-ranking officials from about 80 countries, as well as the heads of such international institutions as the Organization of Turkic States, the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, etc.
Following the ceremony, Uzbek President congratulated the Turkish Leader on his victory in the elections and inauguration, and sincerely wished great success, prosperity and well-being to the Turkish people.
On the sidelines of the event, an exchange of views among the President of Uzbekistan and the leaders of other countries, the heads of international organizations invited to the ceremony took place.
At this point the visit to Ankara ended, and President Shavkat Mirziyoyev left for Tashkent.
