More than 3,600 people live in the makhalla. Families living here effectively use the land. In recent years, within the framework of the program «Every Family is an Entrepreneur», poultry farming, viticulture, greenhouse farming have been established. In addition, a sewing enterprise, grocery stores and workshops operate on the territory of the makhalla.

Last year, a new building of the makhalla center was built, streets were repaired, and vineyards were erected.

The work being done to provide employment for the population and effectively organize the leisure time of young people is also felt in the life of this makhalla. The low level of unemployment and the fact that not a single crime was registered here last year testify to this.

The President visited the home of local resident Diyor Mamadaliyev.

As it is known, there is a high density of population in Andijan region. Therefore, the demand for housing is high. In particular, five families live in Mamadaliev’s house. Therefore, the family agreed to participate in an experiment according to which prefabricated houses were constructed in the yard. Such constructions do not cost much, they are warm in winter and cool in summer, moreover, their construction is not very difficult.

The President congratulated the homeowners on their new homes and inquired about the design of the buildings and the construction materials used.

Housing is one of the main human needs. Both the state and businessmen are making great efforts in housing construction, which serves the interests of our people. Such affordable housing is also necessary to ensure that people have a wide choice, to meet the needs of low-income families, said Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

Instructions were given to expand this project and localize the construction materials used in it.
