On September 7, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States of America Daniel Rosenblum, who is completing his diplomatic mission in Uzbekistan.

The President noted the contribution of Ambassador Daniel Rosenblum to the development of Uzbek–American strategic partnership.

A constructive political dialogue has been established in recent years. The mutually beneficial trade-economic cooperation is enhancing through the joint efforts. The volume of mutual trade is growing. Several investment projects are being implemented with the participation of leading American companies. The bilateral programs in education and healthcare are being carried out.

According to the Decree of the President of Uzbekistan, adopted in August 2022, the American diplomat was awarded the honorary state award of Uzbekistan – Dustlik (‘Friendship’) Order.

The U.S. Ambassador expressed sincere gratitude for the high assessment of his work and assured that he would continue to actively support strengthening the multifaceted cooperation between the two countries.
