On March 24, on the sidelines of the Tashkent International Investment Forum, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received a delegation of the United Arab Emirates headed by Minister of Energy and Infrastructure Suhail Al Mazrouei.

At the beginning of the meeting, the distinguished guest conveyed sincere greetings and best wishes to the President from the President of the UAE Sheikh Khalifa Al Nahyan, the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, Sheikh Mohamed Al Nahyan and the Prime Minister of the country, Emir of Dubai Sheikh Mohammed Al Maktoum.

The Minister congratulated on the successful holding of the Tashkent Forum, which has once again confirmed the noticeable growth of interest of foreign business in our country.

During the meeting, prospects for increasing the practical cooperation were discussed, primarily in the trade, investment, innovation, agriculture, infrastructure, logistics and transport in accordance with the agreements at the top-level.

The results of cooperation in the "green" energy were highly appreciated. A Masdar Company is implementing a number of large projects for the construction of photovoltaic and wind power plants in the regions of the country.

The huge potential for building up investment cooperation and the implementation of new promising projects in priority sectors was emphasized.
