On February 25, the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a telephone conversation with the President of Russian Federation Vladimir Putin.

A number of topical issues of Uzbek-Russian cooperation were discussed.

The Presidents considered the progress of implemented agreements secured as a result of top-level talks, including the development of mutual cooperation projects in the trade, economic, investment, cultural and humanitarian spheres.

An exchange of views on the international and regional agenda, including the current situation in the Ukraine also took place.
