The President got acquainted with the activities of the Investment Projects Situation Center in Nukus.

This institution operates as a single system of formation, implementation and control of business-projects.  It ensures the operational interaction among the ministries, agencies, regions and organizations on the one-stop shop principle.

There are three groups: a regional project group, a strategic development group and an emergency business support group.  There is also a Business Council, which discusses the new ideas and proposals with project teams and attracts entrepreneurs.

In addition, the specialists from the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry develop and propose ready-made projects in the region.

The representatives of the key branch of industry are attached to the center. The President was reported on the planned sectoral projects in Karakalpakstan.

As has previously been informed, the regional khakimiyats were also involved in the joint development of the Aral Sea Region.  They have developed projects for each district of Karakalpakstan.  These plans were also presented at the Center.

With this, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev completed his trip to the Republic of Karakalpakstan and returned to Tashkent.
