The candidate for the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan from the Movement of Entrepreneurs and Businessmen – the Liberal Democratic Party of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev arrived in Kashkadarya Region on October 11 to meet with voters, as well as to get acquainted with the creative work as the Head of the State.

The trip began with a visit to the Abu Muin Nasafi Mausoleum in the Karshi District. The Surahs from the Koran were recited.

The outstanding thinker Abu Muin Nasafi lived in the 11th century, being a follower of the teachings of Maturidiy and a great expert on the Aqidah, he devoted his activity to protecting the true essence of Islam and enlightenment.

On the initiative of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the mausoleum of the theologian was turned into a well-maintained memorial complex. The President got acquainted with the creative work carried out on the ground.

A new mosque, a museum, a library and administrative buildings were constructed here. The trees and flowers have been planted, a beautiful garden has been laid out. The complex has preserved a building and a well of the 11th century, an ancient mosque of the 13th century.

The President visited the new mosque and museum. The museum displays the life and work of Abu Muin Nasafi using multimedia tools. The original handwritten text of the Koran, executed on ancient Samarkand paper, covers with the verses woven on them are also kept here.

Shavkat Mirziyoyev emphasized that the works of the scientist are still relevant today. It is necessary to convey their essence and significance to our people and youth. For this purpose, it was proposed to organize a scientific center named after Abu Muin Nasafi at the Karshi State University.
