President Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the Guliston makhalla (the local residential community) in Termez.
In recent years, the new houses, points of trade and consumer services, playgrounds have been built here. The residents of the yards productively use the plots, are engaged in agriculture, animal husbandry and poultry farming.
The President visited Saidulla Mirzaev’s house and got acquainted with the living conditions of the family.
The head of the family was a shepherd for many years. He and his wife Khosiyat-aya raised six children. In the well-maintained yard, a subsidiary farm is organized. The lemons are grown in the greenhouse.
“Surkhandarya is a blessed land. Here you can harvest crops three times a year. We must take advantage of this, bring technology from the developed countries and find a market for products. This will serve as a source of both additional income and jobs,” – the President said.
Saidulla-ota said that today his son is engaged in business, his daughter-in-law is a doctor, his grandchildren study well, and in general, he is satisfied with life.
“The ability to be grateful is the most noble quality,” - said Shavkat Mirziyoyev. “Now there are all conditions for living, studying and working. There must be peace and tranquility in our country, this is above all”.
The President also inspected modern multi-storey buildings built in the Manguzar makhalla in the city of Termez.
On this, the trip of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev to the Surkhandarya Region ended. The President returned to Tashkent.
