On September 14 the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Esenmyrat Orazgeldiev, who is in our country as part of the activities of bilateral intergovernmental commissions.

The practical aspects of further expansion of the Uzbek-Turkmen multifaceted cooperation were considered.

It was noted with satisfaction that regular contacts at the highest level contribute to the strengthening of relations of friendship, good-neighborliness and strategic partnership between the two fraternal countries, filling them with a concrete substance.

Esenmyrat Orazgeldiev has sincerely thanked the Leader of Uzbekistan for the warm welcome and conveyed greetings and best wishes of the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

He has also informed about the main outcomes of the meetings of the joint intergovernmental commissions on bilateral cooperation and water management issues held in Tashkent these days.

President has emphasized the importance of thorough and comprehensive preparation of the upcoming summit in Uzbekistan, first of all, the formation of a rich agenda, as well as the promotion of industrial cooperation projects in various sectors of the economy, as well as cultural and humanitarian exchange programs.
