On August 30, a telephone conversation took place between the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Mohammed Al Nahyan, the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Deputy Supreme Commander of the United Arab Emirates Armed Forces.

The Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, on behalf of the people of the Emirates, has sincerely congratulated the President and the friendly people of Uzbekistan on the 30th anniversary of the country’s independence, wishing well-being, great achievements and further progress.

The parties have noted with deep satisfaction the practical results of the joint work in the framework of the implementation of the agreements of the high-level visit to the United Arab Emirates in March 2019.

Recently, together with the company Masdar, the first in Uzbekistan photovoltaic solar station with a capacity of 100 MW was commissioned. In addition, six more large projects are being implemented in the energy complex. In general, various industries are working together to promote 15 investment projects for about $5 billion.

A number of important programs are being implemented in the field of training management personnel, specialists in the sphere of information technologies and humanitarian exchange projects.

The exchange of views took place on the unfolding situation in Afghanistan. The agreement was reached to continue the active contacts on the regional security issues.
