As a part of the International Conference on Regional Connectivity of Central and South Asia, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Sirojiddin Mukhriddin.
The productive results of the historic high-level visit to Tajikistan on June 11-12 this year were highly appreciated, which served to strengthen the bilateral relations of friendship, good-neighborliness and strategic partnership, and filled them with specific content.
The Foreign Minister Sirojiddin Muhriddin conveyed the fraternal greetings and the kindest wishes of the President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon to our President.
The issues of promoting the priority projects in various sectors of economy and cultural and humanitarian exchange programs on the basis of the adopted «Road map» were discussed at the meeting.
The current regional agenda – the situation in the Afghan sector, preparation for the Summits of the Leaders of the Central Asian countries and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, were also considered.
