President Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the Parvoz makhalla (the local neighborhood community area) of the Yashnabad District and got acquainted with the living conditions of the population.

In our country, the measures are being taken to identify «points of growth» in each makhalla, attract the population to entrepreneurship and self-employment, solve communal problems and improve the territories. During the visit to the Parvoz makhalla, the status of work in this area was reviewed.

There are 41 apartment buildings in the makhalla, which are serviced by the «Shinam Uy-Joy» management service company. The President visited the office of the company.

A round-the-clock dispatch service has been established here. 35 permanent and more than 20 seasonal jobs have been created. There is also a branch of the People’s Bank in the building.

The makhalla has preschool institutions, schools and sports grounds. The President spoke with the children playing here and expressed his best wishes.

«It is the greatest happiness for me to see that our children are healthy, that their eyes are shining. We try to create all the conditions for you to acquire knowledge, professions, and go in for sports. I wish you to study well, to grow up as people worthy of our ancestors Al-Khorezmiy, Mirzo Ulugbek, as well as to become people capable of fulfilling the dreams of your parents», the President said.

There are 157 trade and service entities operating in the makhalla. In order to ensure employment of the population, it is planned to implement 6 projects for 73 billion Uzbek soums this year and create 310 new jobs.

«This is one of the largest makhallas in Tashkent with a population of over 10,2 thousand people. The work accomplished here should be an example for other makhallas», the President said.

The responsible persons were instructed to improve all 524 makhallas of the capital in the same way, allocate funds for each of them and approve their projects.

A sincere conversation with representatives of the older generation and the public took place here.

«I am glad to meet you this bright month. Every time I talk with young people and elders, it gives me a new strength, inspires me to new plans. Every opinion of people reinforces a sense of responsibility. If people are satisfied, it will not remain without a reward», the President has said.
