Samarkand is an ancient city. Creating conditions for the growing needs of the population is as important as preserving the historical appearance. Therefore, modern housing is being constructed on the Korasuv residential area on the outskirts of the city.
During a trip to the region in 2019, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev examined the first houses built here and got acquainted with the presentation of new projects. Over the past period, 47 houses with a height of 16, 15, 14 and 12 floors for a total of 3,588 apartments were built in the area by «Agromir Buildings» Limited Liability Company.
A three-layer wall coating was used thanks to which the apartments will be warm in winter and cool in summer. The buildings are equipped with video surveillance systems and high-tech fire safety equipment. Each apartment has its own heating boiler and finished overhaul.
The total number of multi-stored buildings in the residential area reached 116. A school for 1600 seats, a kindergarten for 120 seats, a citizens’ assembly building, shops, children’s and sports fields were also built.
This year it is planned to build seven more 16-story and two 25-story houses.
The President paid a special attention to the quality of housing and infrastructure. He stressed the need to develop a mechanism to further strengthen the responsibility of the construction organization for the quality of construction.
«We have learned how to build houses as they do in developed countries, now, accordingly, it is necessary to improve their servicing», - said Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
The recommendations were given on expanding the range of housing services based on foreign experience, organization of a service enterprise and a special fire safety point.
The presentation of the Samarkand master plan projects and the expansion of the city was also held here.
