At the invitation of President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov will pay a state visit to our country on March 11-12 this year.
During the upcoming top-level talks, it is planned to consider the entire range of issues of further development and strengthening the Uzbek-Kyrgyz relations of friendship, good-neighborliness and strategic partnership.
The agenda of the leaders’ meeting includes topical aspects of continuing the constructive political dialogue, expanding the multifaceted interaction in trade, industry, transport, energy, agriculture and water management, enhancing the inter-parliamentary and interregional contacts, implementing the joint programs in the field of culture, healthcare, education and tourism.
An exchange of views on the issues of international politics and regional cooperation will take place.
Following the talks, it is envisaged to adopt a Joint Statement of the Heads of States, as well as the signing of a number of intergovernmental and interdepartmental documents affecting various areas of bilateral relations.
In accordance with the program, the President of Kyrgyzstan will also meet with the heads of both chambers of the Oliy Majlis (National Parliament) and the Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan, in order to get acquainted with the activities of the industrial enterprises of the country.
