President Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the small-sized industrial zone «Dashtbog» in Namangan.
The head of state in his Address to the Oliy Majlis, highlighted that the technoparks, small-sized industrial zones, regional clusters and logistics centers shall be established in the districts and cities in order to further increase the industrial potential.
In particular, in the Namangan Region, the land plots have been allocated for 72 small industrial zones, while 34 of them have been put into operation so far.
Despite the fact that the small-sized industrial zone «Dashtbog» was established recently, several enterprises have already been launched here.
Thus, the «Dream liner tekstil» LLC has started sewing work clothing and men’s shirts. It employs 120 local residents.
Shavkat Mirziyoyev has had a conversation with the team.
- You have heard that the words «makhallabay» and «khonadonbay» have come into use in Uzbekistan. This means that we are trying to help, create conditions for each family by considering its concerns and aspirations. The fact that such a place has appeared in your makhalla (local residential neighborhood area), and you have got a job, the opportunity to work in a team, to explore what is new in the region, in the country and to be in a good mood – these are also the result of the efforts. We still have a lot of plans and goals ahead of us. We came to Namangan with big plans, big funds, so that tomorrow people would live better, - the President said.
There are four other enterprises operating here. «Navro’z tekstil sanoat» produces children’s and men’s clothing, «Aziz Dizayn Servis» - bags, backpacks and suitcases, «Biaz Text» - sandwich panels. The «Kelajak Mega Stroy» LLC has opened a learning center. About 300 jobs were created at these enterprises.
The area of the small industrial zone «Dashtbog» is about 4 hectares. A number of other enterprises are being built and equipped. In general, it is planned to implement 22 projects for 119 billion Uzbek soums. It is expected that as a result, more than 3 thousand jobs shall be created. There will be an opportunity to export products for $2.7 million.
The measures for the development of road, transport and communal infrastructure of the Namangan Region were also discussed. The special attention of the President was attracted by the project to turn the Akhsikent monument into an open-air museum.
- Akhsikent is the most unique monument. The research work in it should be carried out on a scientific basis, with a sense of respect and national pride. This place should become the ‘Registan of Namangan’, - the President said.
