In the city of Karshi, the head of our state held a sincere conversation with teachers and healthcare workers.

On October 30 and November 6, videoconference sessions were held, respectively, on the improvement of the education and training system, as well as the radical transformation of the primary healthcare system. The President also signed a decree and resolution in these areas.

At today’s meeting, the participants discussed the importance of reforms in education and medicine, and their implementation on the ground.

“We cannot become a competitive country without the development of these two sectors. The future is built by a healthy nation, by an educated generation,” Shavkat Mirziyoyev underscored.

Both the current state of schools and the quality of medical services in Kashkadarya are widely considered substandard. Problems are abundant. Parents are unhappy with the education system. Therefore, the reforms launched in these areas are especially in demand for the region.

The head of state told the audience about how he sees the results of the new system of work and the contribution of teachers and doctors to this cause. The President listened to the opinions of school principals, teachers and health workers, and expressed support for their proposals.

“Solving problems in education, as in medicine, is like digging a well with a needle, it is a work with longer-run effects. For this to secure, we must work with high dedication. The outcome of the initiated reforms and the satisfaction of people depend on this very task. On this path I rely on you,” Shavkat Mirziyoyev noted.
