At a meeting in Andijan, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev deliberated on measures to create new enterprises and jobs in the province.

In particular, 7 trillion soums of investments are planned to be used to realize 789 projects and create 42 thousand jobs this year.

13 schemes totaling 106 million US dollars will be implemented in the textile industry. As a result, the extent of yarn processing is to reach 78 percent, $ 278 million worth exports to be provided.

In the construction materials industry, production of import-substituting goods worth $ 106 million is planned to launch in 2020-2021 as a result of 74 projects.

353 billion soums of loans and 20 million dollars from the Fund for Reconstruction and Development of Uzbekistan are supposed to be assigned to support family entrepreneurship in the region.

The head of state gave instructions on the efficient use of vacant buildings, accelerated development of agriculture, extensive and targeted training of the population in more than 60 types of professions, whose income will not be taxed.
