President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has departed for Ankara at the invitation of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan of Turkey.

The two leaders will hold events of the first session of the bilateral Strategic Cooperation Council.

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev plans also to meet with leaders of Turkish business and attend the official opening ceremony of the Public Library of the President of the Republic of Turkey.
