President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the city of Angren in Tashkent region on June 1.
In accordance with the tasks defined by the head of our state during the previous trip, considerable amount of creative and construction works have been carried out here. The joint stock company Uzbekistan Temir Yollari erected a new railway station for the city.
Angren is a strategically important transportation hub. Its importance has even multiplied in light of the construction of the railway station, which will bring Tashkent and the Ferghana Valley closer together. The new station will help create great deal of amenities for locals and tourists.
The venue is able to serve 100 passengers simultaneously. The waiting hall, a baby care room, first-aid post, points of sale and general catering were built with modern comfort.
The President got acquainted with the amenities created in the train station for passengers and workers.
He also attended a presentation of promising projects in tourism, energy, chemical and metallurgical industries, due to be realized in the Tashkent region.
Shavkat Mirziyoyev paid particular attention to major projects for the establishment of international-level resorts in the Charvak free tourist zone, along with a ski resort in Beldersai, Chimgan and Nanai in cooperation with a consortium of French companies.
