Abdulla Qodiriy park in Tashkent’s old town part to become modern and touristic

Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the amusement park named after Abdulla Qodiriy, a prominent Uzbek writer of 20th century in the “old town” of Uzbekistan’s capital. He learned about projects on making this park and modern recreational area.
President said that a grand monument to Abdulla Qodiriy should be set up, the park should be rebuilt to stand out from other parks in the city, it should resemble the times of the writer lived.
He briefed the officials to upgrade Chorsu bazaar and Gulbozor mahalla to develop tourism in this historical place.
President talked to active citizens of mahallas, local self-governing communities and intellectuals on this site.
