Today, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the newly constructed bridge on Bunyodkor street.
As initiated by President, the constructions of a new bridge on the intersection of Bunyodkor and Chupon ota streets in Tashkent has come to its end.
One of the busiest, Bunyodkor street has bridges and tunnels in its most parts, including intersections with Tashkent Circle Road, Farhod and Muqimiy streets, Islom Karimov and Navoiy prospects. Now, with the new bridge, uninterrupted and safe traffic along Bunyodkor street is ensured. The bridge itself allows to traffic on six lanes.
Two 124-metres bridges for pedestrians with elevators for disabled and old people also opened for exploitation.
Uzbekistan’s leader came to the site to review the construction and landscaping works.
He stated that projection of such constructions require thorough consideration of convenience and safety issues and that the fact they are up to date and high quality is important. He expressed his thoughts on making the area and streets around convenient for the people.
Shavkat Mirziyoyev reviewed Gafur Gulom amusement park by the intersection and briefed the officials to rebuild it as an open-air and closed aqua park. He mentioned not to cut any single tree in the park during reconstructions.
