On June 14, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev arrived in Moscow at the invitation of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin.
The Head of the state was met in a special atmosphere of FIFA World Cup celebration, which is taking place in this country.
Shavkat Mirziyoyev took part in the opening ceremony of 2018 FIFA World Cup, held at Luzhniki Olympic Complex.
A colorful show, prepared on the basis of a rich program and advanced technical solutions was held. World pop stars performed the official song of the championship. Fans, who came from different parts of the world, warmly welcomed the national teams participating in the most prestigious football tournament.
The President of Uzbekistan, together with high-ranking guests, watched the opening match between the national teams of Russia and Saudi Arabia, in a friendly and sincere atmosphere, talked with the leaders of foreign countries.
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev departed for Tashkent on the same day.
